When the full moon rises on Halloween, and a child is born, he or she develops strange powers. Kasumi, Miru and Rei where all born of the stroke of midnight on Halloween, with the harvest moon shining upon them. Exactly 16 years later, they set out on a journey to find out who-or what- they really are.

Rei sees the spirit world, and living with both her long tail and cat ears has made her brutal, unremorseful and harsh. Miru changes colours with her emotions, which are exaggerated and often strange. And Kasumi turns to an invisible mist, sending chills up the spines of everyone around her.

Together, they will learn just how special they really are, as they explore their powers, their friendship, and a strange city that stretches on forever.
